Conception and Budget
The ICE Conference was created in 1983 by a small group of enterprising
individuals in the Edmonton IT Community.
Volunteers
The success of the conference is dependent on the commitment
and effort of the 30+ individuals who volunteer to be part of
the planning committees and the many volunteers (mostly students)
who work on-site at the conference. The ICE Management Committee
is led by a Conference Chair / Vice Chair and is organized into
seven portfolios.

50-75 companies are typically involved through cash
