Value in IT: Building on the theme of
ICE 2007, this stream includes speaker who will present the
opportunities and challenges defining
the business benefits from IT investments,
including architecture, applications and security projects,
the approaches to quantify and measure the
value derived from IT contributions, and understanding
the value relationship between the lines of business and IT.
The presentations will include business cases
that provide real world examples of the value organizations
achieved through IT investments
Trends in Technology: This stream
explores emerging trends in technologies and creative deployment
of traditional IT applications. The speakers featured will
present innovative applications of emerging technologies and consider the impact of changes driven by technology development
Professional Development: “Soft skills” are critical success factors
in today’s IT and business world. Leadership,
communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are
necessary for both leaders and “doers”. Whether
you’re a senior executive or just starting out in your
career, sessions in the Professional Development stream are designed to round out that extremely
important “soft skills” side of your toolkit. Due to the highly interactive nature of
two of the Workshops
in the Professional Development stream, the session will limit the
number of participants and pre-registration is recommended to

Tutorials: Hands-on workshop style tutorials tailored to provide more in-depth
coverage of specific topics that will be of interest to
